about me

I am Dr. Shreya Shrivastava, resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. I am a person who enjoys living life to the fullest, love to travel and meet people.

Academics

Formally educated as a DENTIST (MDS), I am also an AUTHOR by profession.
I have completed my schooling from “DAV Public School, Bilaspur” in 2007 and received my degree in Bachelors of Dental Surgeon (BDS) from “Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka” in 2013. Thereafter, in the year 2017, I have completed my post-graduation i.e. Masters of Dental Surgeon (MDS, Oral Pathology and Microbiology) from “People’s University, Bhopal”.

    • Painting & sketching came as a God’s gift in my life. I believe painting is the best medium of self healing. It reduces my stress, rejuvenates me and gives me immense happiness.
    • From childhood, I had keen interest in sketching and painting. However, being entangled in my studies and career, I never pursued my interest further. But off late I realised that interest in sketching and painting keeps me alive for everything and with time, this constant interest turned into passion. So after many years (i.e. in 2018) I picked up colours and there was no looking back since then. I am a self taught artist.
    • To me, art is an inner journey towards pacifying the turbulence of emotions keeping the state of mind meditating, depicting the sound of mind and heart into visual form or language.
      Vivid colours, imaginations, thoughts and creativity inspire me to paint. The main purpose I want to achieve is showing love with things that I create.
      My art is my voice, a powerful interpretation of my deepest thoughts, hidden emotions and stronger desires.
      Hence “experiencelifebyart” is the title of my Facebook and Instagram art page.

My Publications

In the year 2018, my first book- “Rapid Review of Hematology and Clinical Pathology-Principles, Procedures and Applications” got published under Educreation Publishing. This book clearly demonstrates key features for solid understanding of correlation and interpretation of laboratory tests used for diagnosis and monitoring of blood smears, haemorrhagic and thrombotic conditions.

  • In 2018, my article “Attitude towards biopsy in dental and medical
    practice” got published in the International Journal i.e. “World Journal of
    Pharmaceutical and Medical Research (WJPM)”.
  •  In 2020, my article “Assessment of serum IL-10 and IL-12 in Oral
    Premalignancy and Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma” got published in
    the journal –“Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (JOMFP)”.
